Sisika Guard Guidelines
Players who are interested in creating a Sisika Guard should send a DM to the Support Bot expressing their interest as well as their desired character name and a brief backstory (3-4 lines maximum). Existing characters can become a guard pending staff approval but MUST be 100% lawful on an OOC level. Characters who have committed any crime in the past are very unlikely to be approved for the role.
As this role comes with higher responsibility, ideal candidates will be players who have needed little to no corrective action in the past. If you are denied from the role you can always re-apply in the future.
Once you have been approved, you will receive your Discord role and gain the ability to spawn your character in as a guard. Make sure to review the guard handbook prior to your first shift!
Expectations of a Sisika Prison Guard
- All Saint’s Crossing laws continue to apply while on the island. In the event an inmate commits additional crimes while in prison, take note as this may increase their sentencing.
- Additionally, you should follow all existing rules of WildRP - this includes not using meta to identify inmates. You may acquire knowledge about them via the newspaper or interactions. Criminals are allowed to convene in groups larger than six while in Sisika prison.
- Minor corruption may occur on the island but will be subjected to in-character punishments, up to and including removal from the guard role.
- Major corruption will not be permitted in this role under any circumstances without prior staff permission.
- Should your roleplay on the island be deemed inappropriate, upon staff review, you will be contacted via the support bot. Depending on severity staff may request a chat with you regarding your behavior, up to and including your guard being removed from service on the island.

What is the Sisika Penitentiary?
Sisika Penitentiary is a maximum-security prison, located on an island just off the coast of Bayou Nwa in Lemoyne. It is just east of the city of Saint Denis.
What does it mean to be sentenced to Sisika?
Sisika is the end of the line. With the exception of capital punishment, there is no worse punishment in Saint’s Crossing than to be sent to the prison island.
This maximum-security prison houses a mix of people serving various sentences (including some who will be there for life), but everyone is here for a reason.
What is the role of the guard?
Your job is to be the law within the prison. You are to ensure the prisoners are contributing towards repaying their debts to society - this includes engaging in activities on the island such as potato digging, mining, and fishing.
All guards are expected to create the atmosphere of an immersive, maximum-security prison. Prisoners are subject to a strict routine, occasional searches, and a complete lack of privacy. It is your job to enforce the rules when prisoners step out of line.
This roleplay is meant to flesh out the RP experience on the island; it should be fun. Your guard can take a number of approaches to how they fulfill their role but they should be faithful to the law and faithful to their role at the facility.
Do I need to dress my character as a guard? What do I do once I load in?
If you are not using an existing character as a guard, please wait to create your character until you have been given the role so you can spawn directly into Sisika. All guard characters will spawn in with a uniform automatically. Once your guard has loaded into Sisika, take some time to familiarize yourself with the prison itself and introduce yourself to the other guards and staff of the facility, including the Warden if they are around.
