History

Early Life

Sean grew up out west with his twin brother Liam in poverty, around their 12th birthday the two of them met Becker Lang who took them in and taught them the life of an outlaw showing the two boys how to shoot, steal, and most important of all; run. As he grew older Sean began taking a more prominent place in the gang as a gunman and thief. Time went on following this pattern for a long while eventually leading up to the day Sean was captured by the law. During a job Liam was knocked unconscious and beaten by a lawman, fracturing his skull. Sean stayed behind to save his brother and kill the lawman in question which resulted in the two of them being surrounded and arrested. The brothers spent 8 years in prison, recovering and biding their time for a moment to make their escape. Eventually, news reached the twins about Becker's reappearance in Saint's Crossing. Upon hearing this the two of them stirred up a riot in which they stole a guard's guns and blasted their way out of the prison.

Arrival in Saint Denis

Sean and Liam arrived in the county of Lemoyne first upon entering the Crossing. The two quickly adapted to the city, laying low to start out with. The brothers began committing small crimes which quickly escalated, including taking over a small ranch house in the swamps nearby.

Rivalry with Rene

After hitting their stride the two brothers began leaving a path of chaos in their wake creating enemies left and right. One enemy of note was a man by the name of Rene Sonse. Rene once attempted to rob Sean in his own home but was quickly stopped by the arrival of his brother. After a short talk, Rene put a cigar out on Liam's chest

Character

Personality

Crude, cruel, and occasionally sociopathic, Sean was a bastard through and through. Typically sporting a cocky grin on his face, Sean is self-confident to the extreme. More often than not he chose to push his luck with risky plays. He was an enthusiastic enjoyer of violence often resorting to its use purely to alleviate his own boredom, his casual attitude while performing these acts led to the impression that Sean was completely insane. Sean's philosophy was nihilistic at worst absurdist at best, he believed that human life held no intrinsic value and that everything was subjective, noting that if he were to kill somebody he had never met he wouldn't feel a thing. Sean would often be found using this worldview as something to excuse his more brutal deeds around the Crossing.

Appearance

Due to having few opportunities to take care of his clothing, Sean's outfits tended to be worn and ragged. He was always found wearing his signature wide brim hat and brown long-coat as well as black leather chaps, creating quite a memorable silhouette. He wore his red hair short on his head, styled to keep it out of his eyes, while his face tended to be roughly shaven into a simple mustache and goatee. On the left side of his forehead, there was a scar that ran down his hairline to his brow that he gained during his stay in prison before coming to the Crossing.
