Elich Doherty

Background

Originally from Donegal, Ireland, Elich immigrated to America with his parents at the age of 6 when his father got a job as a Professor at Boston University teaching European History. He attended school up through 12th grade but when it came time to attend university he began to have second thoughts. Elich didn't want to follow in his father's footsteps. He was endlessly curious about the rest of the country. He consumed every paper and story book he could get his hands on until he eventually decided to discover America for himself. At the age of 18 he left home with nothing but a satchel of provisions on his back. For the next 10 years he traveled up and down the east coast, into the deep south, and north into the Dakotas. He would hitch rides on a wagon, or hop freight trains and ride them to wherever the rails would take him. He eventually ended up on a train that took him to Annesburg and has been exploring The Crossing ever since.
