Jamie Marlow
Jamie Marlow is a Deputy of the Saint's Crossing Sheriff's Department.
History
Early Life
Jamie Noelle Marlow was born on January 2nd, 1,878 on a ranch in Adams County, Iowa. She is the youngest child of Vincent and Maria Marlow and she is the youngest of four. She has three older siblings, Jason, Rebecca, and Jackie Marlow.
Growing up, she was taught how to fish by her father, how to shoot by her brother, and how to ride a horse by her mother. She lived a relatively uneventful and normal life, outside of falling off of a ladder at a younger age which caused her to break an arm. This led to her fear of heights.
As Jamie grew older, her twin sister Jackie convinced her to don the badge in Adams County. The pair would be Deputies in Adams County from the ages of 21 until they were 22.
Parents History Catching Up
Before Jamie and her siblings were born, their parents, Vincent and Maria, ran in a gang led by a man named Alexander Von Howler. Vincent's brother, Bass, was amongst these members. This gang did various different crimes. Kidnapping, robberies, bank robberies, train heists, and the like. They were nowhere near the kind-hearted outlaws some may make dime novels about.
It came to pass, that Vincent and Maria realized that she was with child, whom would later become Jason, and the pair knew that this life was not the kind to try to raise children in. They betrayed the Von Howler Gang, which became the downfall of the gang. Well over twenty years later, this would return to haunt them and their family.
One day, one of the Law around Adams County paid the Marlow family a visit on their ranch and informed Vincent that they had information as to the whereabouts of Bass. Vincent geared himself up to embark, one last time, on the life he once lived. He did not return to the ranch alive. Then one day, Maria was kidnapped from the ranch, and later she too, also showed up in a condition one would not wish to be in. Uncle Bass was out for the blood of his own family, as they had betrayed him and the gang he ran with.
Then, while out on patrol one day, Jackie and Jamie were out-maneuvered by Bass and kidnapped. The pair withstood several days under his "care" for several days. Bass took the pairs badges, and branded them each with the other's on opposing shoulders. Jamie's left shoulder still bears her sister's badge, seared into her skin. The twins made a break for it, where Bass let off some wild shots into the night after them. Jamie managed to escape unscathed. Jackie was not so lucky. And with that, Jamie made her way to Saint's Crossing, not intent to become a Deputy. However, she met a stranger on the train who convinced her to don the badge, and so she sent out an application.
Events in Saint's Crossing
Cadet Phase
Jamie arrived in Saint's Crossing in the town of Rhodes via train on December the 2nd, 1901. She then met Deputy Giorgio, and rode along with him for a short time before being denied an interview with Sheriff Calhoun. She would later be interviewed and inducted into the Cadet Program by Sheriff Bishop Nøkk alongside Fenix Hayston in Blackwater. She would be a Cadet for a week, training under various different members of the Department at the time until she would be sworn in in the town of Rhodes by Sheriff Jonah Harper.

Personality
Deputy Marlow is strong-willed, stubborn, and compassionate. She has walls that she very rarely lets down.
Appearance
Deputy Marlow has raven black hair that changes styles frequently. She has freckles, and her left eye is missing. She has a scar from the cauterization of the wound.
She dresses in a tan vest, black leather shirt, and occasionally wears a tan long coat over it.
