Wapiti Village is a settlement in the Grizzlies East region of Ambarino.

Description

Wapiti Village sits in the north-easternmost edge of Saints Crossing. The village consists mostly of tipis, alongside some more permanent structures that are used for storage. Recently some military tents were erected to provide guest housing, as well as canopies built of wood and hide to shelter their workshops.

The southern side of the village hosts a shooting range dubbed Frustration Grove. To its east is Calumet Ravine, a large lake which is their main food and water source. Wapiti’s artisans have crafted a small number of canoes to use in the lake.

Due to its high altitude it snows throughout the year, though it only gets thick enough to cover the ground in the winter months. The soil is rocky and unfit for growing crops.

The village dwellers keep dogs, a flock of chickens called the Wechuckens, and a small herd of cows who are all named Kima.

 ==History==
-Prior to the arrival of European settlers the Wapiti tribe’s territory spanned from central Ambarino to the central Heartlands, and their original village resided in the area where Cornwall Kerosene & Tar’s Oil Field currently resides.
-In the late 1880s Wapiti’s leaders began to negotiate with Cornwall for the purchase of some land for industrial development. Cornwall used underhanded negotiation tactics as well as political influence, deception and outright intimidation to acquire the valley in which the village lay. Following the deal they were legally required to relocate further north, setting in the area where the village occupies today.
