Early Life

Fin (Patches) grew up in an orphanage never knowing is real family, he got his name from a hat he wore with a patch in it as he wasn't left with one, At a young age he was kicked out of the orphanage and left to fend for himself. Once on the streets he did whatever he could to survive, eventually turning to drugs and alcohol to ease the pains of hunger and cold.

Once In Saints Crossing

Patches travelled from town to town begging for money and making do, he would leave for a new town when he was either kicked out by law for being a nuisance or by a criminal group for the same reasons. Not knowing how to ride a horse he was forced to walk from town to town, eventually in one of these towns (Valentine) he was identified as possibly useful by an outfit called The Firm. They saw his desperation for food drugs and alcohol and knew he could be used for whatever they would like with the right rewards.

After being given the task of bringing some guns back to The Firm, Patches contacted a person he knew, A man called Laten, known as "2". Laten showed Patches the mines and how to relieve people of their guns. Patches quickly returned the guns back to The Firm impressing them with how quickly he worked with promise of reward at the end.
