Players in the WildRP community have the unique opportunity to play as a prison inmate incarcerated for life, known as a “lifer”, should you choose to engage in that type of roleplay. As a Sisika Lifer you have no chance of parole, appeal, or escape, and will be living out your days sentenced to isolation in Sisika Penitentiary. Your character will be confined to the island at all times, and serves to populate the prison.

Expectations of a Lifer

  • You will be expected to roleplay the experience of being sentenced to a maximum-security prison for life. You are expected to respect the seriousness of the location, guards and other inmates (both player and NPC). The guards of Sisika are strict and will shoot. The other inmates are potentially very violent criminals. You are here to add to the atmosphere and provide unique story opportunities.
  • Even when player guards are not actively in the prison, it is expected for roleplay to be conducted as if there are guards always watching.
  • Additionally, you should follow all existing rules of WildRP - this includes not using meta to identify other inmates. You may acquire knowledge about them via the newspaper or interactions. Criminals are allowed to convene in groups larger than six while in Sisika prison.
  • Should your roleplay on the island be deemed inappropriate, upon staff review, you will be contacted via the support bot. Depending on severity, staff may request a chat with you regarding your behavior and your character/role may be removed.
  • Should your lifer die permanently while incarcerated you may make a new lifer character.
  • Should your lifer commit a crime within the prison, you will likely receive more severe consequences than "regular" prisoners. Lifers that commit murder will be executed, and lifers that knowingly attempt murder will likely be executed as well. Any injuries that result from self-defense will likely not qualify. If you have any questions regarding this, please reach out to the support bot.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Sisika Penitentiary?

Sisika Penitentiary is a maximum-security prison, located on an island just off the coast of Bayou Nwa in Lemoyne. It is just east of the city of Saint Denis.

Do I have to have committed crimes in Saints Crossing to be a “Lifer”?

No. This is your opportunity to submit a character who is already within the prison system due to crimes they have committed in the past or in other parts of the country. These crimes would be part of their backstory. They have no chance for parole and know they will be serving out the remainder of their days behind bars.

Can I escape or appeal my sentence?

No. It is against WildRP rules to escape or attempt to escape Sisika without prior staff consent. Sisika Lifers are unable to appeal their sentence for any reason.

Can I leave Sisika, even temporarily?

No. Life-long prisoners are confined to the prison island at all times.

Do I need to dress my character in a prison uniform?

All lifers will spawn with a prison jumpsuit outfit automatically. You may customize or change this outfit if you wish but remember - the guards will not take kindly to inmates who are out of regulation uniform.

Good luck and be on your best behavior, inmate!
