History

Early Life

An Irish-American from upstate New York. Her Ireland native-born parents moved to the states for new opportunities unavailable to them in Ireland. Their small farm was not producing enough to sustain the lives they wished to live, so they moved to rural New York to work and till the "black soil," known for its enriching nutrients and fertile plants. There, Morgan was born. Her mother attempted to raise her as a "proper lady" but Morgan always had other plans. She would work in stalls, on the farm, and other occupations requiring heavy lifting. Morgan was a tomboy at heart and refused to fit inside the box her mother was conjuring up for her.

Morgan has had several bad run-ins in her romantic relationships. People who were controlling in nature like her mother or downright just mean to her. She swore off anyone after her last connection had thrown a vase at her and left her face permanently disfigured from the shards cutting her face. Luckily, it was a clean cut but it was enough for her to not explore anything like that for awhile.

Eventually, later on in Morgan's life during her early 20s, things on the family farm began took a turn for the worse. Her father, more absent than ever despite being there every day. Her mother, more controlling and strict, Morgan decided it was finally time to leave. Her happiness and carefree nature was on the line. In the middle of cool, mid-spring, night she left home and hasn't looked back. She's picked up odd jobs throughout her travels. She would do farming/ranching one-offs.

Events in Saint's Crossing

General Overview

Eventually, Morgan and Elijah found their way to Saint's Crossing. She stays nearby Elijah every night in fear of something similar happening again. Morgan aspires to continue to live freely and without a second thought. She's currently opening herself up to new opportunities and is attempting to make new friendships. More than anything, she wants to make an honest living and do so by being her genuine authentic self.

Secretly, Morgan likes to sing and would enjoy carrying on performances for all the people of Saint's Crossing. However, before all that, she needs to make friends, connections, and find stability.

Character

Personality

Morgan is generally polite and sweet. She's soft spoken and rarely talks out of turn. In close circles, she is known for dropping random bouts of wisdom but more often her... different way of thinking, which can be surmised as vulgarity. Morgan apologizes for everything, even things that aren't her fault but she knows how to hold a grudge and to not forgive easily.

Appearance

Morgan has light-red long hair usually worn in a braid. She has warm green eyes, tons of freckles about her face, and a scar going from over her left eyebrow to mid-way down her cheek. She typically wears pastels of cool tone colors and black or white. She likes her foraging bags and brings them everywhere with her.
